Workhorse Group (WKHS) Shoots Up on News From USPS

Workhorse Group (WKHS) shot up 15% today on news from USPS that they will likely be ordering more electric trucks for the postal agency’s next-generation fleet.

Workhorse designs and builds battery-electric trucks and can potentially stand to benefit from USPS’s decision.

The decision by USPS follows backlash and sharp criticism of their ordering of a predominantly gas-powered fleet over Workhorse’s electric vehicles. Investors hope a deal with Workhorse can be reached.
