The PRISM Emerging Cannabis index could be something to watch going forward, as MJBizFactbook predicts strong growth from 2021 to 2026.
The total U.S. economic impact from marijuana sales in 2022 is expected to reach $99 billion, a growth of over 20%, and upwards of $158 billion in 2026. MJBiz states that these estimates are on the high end of the scale and are a best guess because the marijuana industry’s structure is unique.
