SuperCom: Romanian Ministry of Interior Places $7.1M Follow-On Order

SuperCom (Nasdaq: SPCB), a global provider of secured solutions for the e-Government, IoT, and Cybersecurity sectors, has received a follow-on order valued at $7.1 million from Romania’s Ministry of Interior for the country’s National Electronic Monitoring (EM) Project.

The EM project includes the deployment of SuperCom’s PureSecurity EM Suite for domestic violence monitoring, GPS Tracking of offenders, and a home detention monitoring program.

Highlights

  •  This $7.1 million follow-on order follows the successful completion of the project’s first phase and the delivery of the initial order placed in 2022, valued at over $8 million. Both orders are significant for the company relative to previously reported annual revenues of $12.5 million in 2021.
  • SuperCom expects to deliver the order within the first half of 2023.
  • SuperCom’s PureSecurity Suite is an electronic monitoring solution that provides GPS tracking, communication, monitoring technologies, and a secure software platform providing tracking and reporting.
  • The system has been designed to meet the needs of correctional facilities and law enforcement agencies as tools to manage offenders and ensure public safety.

The Romanian government’s order further strengthens SuperCom’s position as a leader in the electronic monitoring market and as a trusted partner to governments worldwide. The company has stated its intention to continue to bid on large projects worldwide.
