Trump Media & Technology Group witnessed a decline of over 11% in shares due to the debate between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris. The enterprise is predominantly owned by Donald Trump, the former president.
Rentokil Initial’s shares took a considerable hit of around 20% due to a profit warning from its parent company, Terminix. Trading in North America during July and August had been weaker than anticipated, leading to a predicted slowdown in sales growth of around 1%. Fellow pest control organization Rollins also took a hit, with shares falling almost 5%.
Dave & Buster’s entertainment shares surged by over 13% as they surpassed earnings expectations for the previous quarter by 15 cents per share, despite revenues falling short of projections.

Viking Therapeutics’ shares rose by over 4% following JPMorgan’s initiation of coverage with an overweight rating, implying an upside of more than 40%.
Crypto stocks, which are linked to the fluctuating price of Bitcoin and Coinbase were under strain as cryptocurrency traders focused on central bank policy in Japan and forthcoming U.S. inflation data.
Shares of financial giant Morgan Stanley fell by over 1% following a downgrade by Goldman Sachs from buy to neutral, noting the stock’s high price in comparison to its competitors.
