Periodic Powered Nikola (NKLA) Reports Record Sales of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Class 8 Trucks, Shares Rise 10%

In the company’s third quarter, Nikola Corporation (NKLA) has reported the sale of 88 Class 8 Nikola hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks falling in line with its guidance for the quarter and marked record quarterly sales for the company. Over the first three quarters, the company has wholesaled 200 hydrogen fuel cell trucks.

Additionally, the company has added the first-ever US dealer-based HYLA modular refueling station. Nikola CEO Steve Girsky stated, “Despite overall market headwinds, Nikola remains focused on our mission to pioneer solutions for a zero-emission world, and we’re doing it one truck at a time.”

Nikola participates and currently leads the PRISM Emerging EV Index which tracks small and micro-cap stocks that are contributing to the electric vehicle market as automakers, EV component suppliers or other EV-related businesses such as charging stations.
