Beast Mode: ON. GreenPower (GP) Delivers First BEAST All Electric School Bus

A leading manufacturer and distributor of all electric medium and heavy-duty vehicles, GreenPower Motor Company, Inc. (GP) has announced the delivery of the first Type D BEAST all-electric school bus to the Kanawha County, West Virgina School District.

This purchase of the BEAST was entirely through the county’s school bus replenishment funds and did not include any federal or state grant money. Previously, the school district deployed the first Nanao BEAST and now are receiving the first BEAST made by GreenPower as well. 37 more Type D BEASTs are in production and have been ordered by the state of West Virginia.

In addition to school buses, the company has also recently unveiled the EV Star REEFER X, a new modern, all electric refrigerated medium duty truck and has started taking orders for the vehicle. GreenPower is included in the PRISM Emerging EV Index.
