Aston Martin has More Than Just The Need For Speed As It Looks for Its Next CEO to Drive Company Success

Aston Martin, the distinguished British luxury car producer (AML.L), is rumoured to be on the search for successors to CEO Amedeo Felisa, reaching out to both present and past automotive industry leaders, Bloomberg News cited anonymous sources on Tuesday. Aston Martin has chosen not to comment on these speculations and the specific names in contention remain undisclosed.

Amedeo Felisa, former leader of Ferrari NV, took over Aston Martin’s reins in May 2022, filling the shoes of Tobias Moers who left the role in under two years.

Unfortunately, the company has since witnessed a roughly 42% decline in shares amidst various challenges including logistical and supply chain hiccups, inflated costs, the impact of the Ukraine conflict, and lock-downs, particularly in China.

To add to the company’s trials, the expected volume for 2023 had to be modulated as the brand-new DB12 sports car suffered production setbacks in November.
