PRISM AdTech & Media: Magnite and Disney are Still Making Magic As They Extend Partnership

The largest independent sell-side advertising platform Magnite (MGNI), has announced the extension of its six-year partnership with Disney (DIS) for an additional two years. Maginite has been Disney’s preferred supply-side technology partner, helping Disney monetize its ad-supported inventory across its entire portfolio. Magnite facilitates transactions for over 30 demand-side platforms (DSPs) that collaborate with Disney.

Maginite will also be supporting Disney as the company expands its scope to include Latin America. The Latin American countries will include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Argentina. Additionally, Magnite will assist Disney as it relates to inventory, podcasts, and live sports in streaming such as, monetizing live streams of College Football games on ESPN.

“We are grateful for Disney’s continued trust in our partnership and are excited to work together to deliver top-tier advertising experiences across all consumer touchpoints,” said Sean Buckley, Chief Revenue Officer at Magnite. “Beyond enabling Disney’s programmatic transactions, we are innovating in new areas like live streaming to bring even more value to our collaboration.”

The PRISM AdTech and Media Index company has seen shares start trading up on the news and has returned close to 35% YTD.
