Tilray Unveils New Way to Catch a Beverage Buzz with Delta-9 THC Drink Portfolio To Be Launched in US Markets Next Month
The leading global lifestyle and consumer packaged goods company, Tilray Brands (TLRY) has introduced its new hemp-derived Delta-9 THC beverages (HDD9) via its newly formed Tilray Alternative Beverages business. These beverages are expected to launch in October 2024 across Tilray’s US key markets.
Prior to this announcement, the company had been investing in its beverage business acquiring beer brands such as SweetWater and Shock Top and has become the 5th largest craft brewer in the country and the top in the Pacific Northwest and Georgia. These strategic acquisitions will set up Tilray with the ability to enter the growing HDD9 beverage category in the U.S and expand their presence as cannabis regulations shift and become less stringent.
The new THC beverage portfolio consists of canned seltzers, mocktails and cocktails across 4 HDD9 brands that include 420 Fizz, Herb and Bloom, Fizzy Janes and Happy Flower.
Tilray participates in the PRISM Emerging Cannabis Index where investors can find more emerging companies within the cannabis sector.
