Pickleball Just Became the Real Dill as Trulieve (TCNNF) Announces Partnership with Two Major Pickleball Associations

Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (TCNNF) a leading cannabis company in the U.S., today announced a partnership with the Carvana PPA Tour (“PPA Tour”) and MLP by Margaritaville (“MLP”) to sponsor premier pickleball events in Arizona, Florida, and Georgia.

The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour is the world’s largest professional and amateur pickleball tour, with 25 tour stops across the nation. In 2023 alone, the PPA Tour saw a 50% increase in registered players, now boasting over 39,000 amateur participants, and attracted more than 275,000 spectators and 20 million broadcast viewers, establishing itself as a premier event in the sporting world.

Major League Pickleball (MLP) is the top team-based, coed pickleball league, featuring nearly 100 players across 22 celebrity-owned teams. The 2024 season will feature 11 events in 10 different states, expanding MLP’s dynamic competition and energetic atmosphere to more fans than ever.

Trulieve will sponsor 12 events, beginning with the CIBC Atlanta Slam in September, spanning the remainder of the 2024 and upcoming 2025 schedules.
