Current PRISM Emerging EV Index leader, Greenland Technologies (GTEC) is a developer and manufacturer of electric industrial vehicles and drivetrain systems for material handling machinery. Today the company announced its partnership with Lonking Holdings, one of the world’s largest construction machinery manufacturers. In 2023, Lonking’s reported estimated sales of $1.5Bn. This collaboration aims to revolutionize the heavy machinery industry in the United States by developing cutting-edge electric machinery under Greenland’s popular HEVI brand, specifically catering to the U.S. market.
The partnership combines Greenland’s expertise in electric vehicle technology with Lonking’s leadership in heavy machinery manufacturing. Leveraging their respective strengths, the companies plan to introduce a new line of electric-powered heavy machinery that meets the U.S. construction and industrial sectors’ demands for sustainability, efficiency, and performance.
