“Houston, We Have Oil.” Houston American (HUSA) Announces Drilling Plans in Texas

PRISM Oil and Gas Index company, Houston American Energy Corp. (HUSA) has announced plans to participate in the drilling of six wells on the State Finkle Unit in the Wolfcamp formation in Reeves County, TX.

The primary operator of this project is EOG Resources and is the principal working interest owner in the unit. Houston American will hold ~0.0078 working interest in the unit. The first well is expected to begin drilling operations by June 30, 2024 with all six anticipated to be operating by September 1, 2024. The company’s cost in participating equates to ~$600K.
