Prism Stocks making the biggest moves premarket: Apple, Amgen, Cloudflare and more

Here’s a glance at the companies making waves in the pre-market trade.

Hershey witnessed about a 1% increase in their share price, following a Q1 earnings beat. With adjusted earnings of $3.07 per share, the chocolate maker outpaced the $2.76 per share anticipated by LSEG analysts. Hershey’s revenue of $3.25 billion also surpassed the $3.11 billion predictions.

Apple shares surged by over 7%, following the unveiling of a $110 billion stock buyback plan and a beat on top and bottom lines. With Q2 earnings of $1.53 per share on a revenue of $90.75 billion, Apple exceeded analyst expectations.

Amgen shares skyrocketed by 13% after the biotech company’s Q1 earnings and revenue surpassed expectations and announced the progression of its injectable obesity drug to a phase 3 trial.

Simultaneously, shares of Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly traded lower Friday morning.

Shares of Cloudflare, however, dipped by 12% despite beating Q1 earnings and revenue expectations, due to lackluster full-year guidance.

An 11% slide was observed in Expedia shares following a less-than-expected Q2 guidance, affected by its Vrbo segment’s performance.

Fortinet shares also saw a drop of 8%, despite beating Q1 estimates, due to a tepid Q2 billings forecast.

Block shares enjoyed a 9% boost following their surpassing of Q1 LSEG analyst expectations, reporting adjusted earnings of 85 cents per share and revenue of $5.96 billion.

DaVita also witnessed a near 5% uplift in their share price after surprising analysts with Q1 earnings of $2.38 per share and a revenue of $3.07 billion.

Arista Networks saw a notable gain of nearly 4% following an upgrade by Jefferies to ‘buy’.

Coinbase shares saw a 2% drop after the crypto exchange warned about potential growing expenses, despite beating Q1 revenue estimates.

Union Pacific saw shares increase by more than 1% following an upgrade to ‘buy’ from Stifel.

Lastly, Mister Car Wash enjoyed a 4% jump in shares after JPMorgan upgraded its stock to overweight, citing attractive valuation and a favorable shift in trends.
