Hybrid Gets to Sit with the Plastics – Ford Makes Strategic Shift with EV Rollback While Tesla Struggles To Keep Its AI Talent

The EV space continues to lose its power as the resonating theme of consumers switching from electric to hybrids is echoed today by giant automaker Ford Motor Company (F) in its recent announcement. The company intends to roll back its latest next gen EV offering and plans to expand its popular hybrid models.

Ford’s hybrid sales set a record for the company last quarter and has decided to expand its EV models with hybrid powertrains which should be instituted across the entire product range by 2030.

Meanwhile Tesla has already started to continue cutting its vehicle prices after reporting a worse than expected Q1 deliveries report earlier this week. However, as Musk cuts vehicle prices, he is now raising pay for his AI engineers as he attempts to ward off Open AI’s tries to poach Tesla talent.
