Real Good Foods (RGF) Is Hungry for Change Making Leadership Moves and Supply Chain Improvements

Health-conscious frozen foods focused, The Real Good Food Company, Inc. (RGF) released an announcement last week that cited leadership changes as well as supply chain updates. The companies products can be found in most Costco’s (COST) across the country along with select Walmart (WMT) and Kroger (KR) locations. The Real Good Food Company is currently leading the PRISM Consumer Products Index up ~15%.

Former CMO of Smithfield Foods, Tim Zimmer will now be stepping in as the company’s CEO and brings over 30 years of packaged foods industry experience. In addition to the new CEO appointment, another Smithfield Foods exec and former VP of Business Management, Mark Dietz will be stepping in as the Real Good Food Senior Vice President of Operations.

In addition to its management team updates, the company has decided to cease its operations at its City of Industry facility which is projected to contribute substantial cost savings to its balance sheet.
