Boarding passes or IDs will be replaced by “Touchless ID” technology for United Airlines (UA) passengers traveling through Chicago O’Hare and Los Angeles International airports. The program will continue to roll out across the country. Delta Air Lines (DAL) already has instituted a similar technology at its hubs in Detroit and New York. The Department of Homeland Security intends to roll out an entirely “self-service” screening option to bypass TSA agents entirely.
