Peloton Stock Jumps on TikTok Collaboration
Investors responded positively to news that Peloton ($PTON) has entered an exclusive partnership with TikTok to drive accessibility of fitness and movement with a first-of-its-kind #TikTokFitness Peloton hub. TikTok has one billion active users globally. Peloton’s shares rose 7.82% in morning trading on Thursday following the news.
Oli Snoddy, Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Peloton commented on the collaboration, saying, “Peloton and TikTok both move at the speed of culture to better serve our respective audiences. Sofia Hernandez, Global Head of Business Marketing at TikTok, said that the partnership will bring inspirational fitness content and entertain Peloton users who come to TikTok to learn, connect with instructors, share fitness journeys, and find community.
